Rotman's Gender Analytics: Inclusive Product and Service Innovation will give you the tools you need to develop and launch more inclusive products and services, which will help you reach broader markets, grow market share and avoid unintended product or reputational risks.

In this executive program, you will learn to combine three skillsets—business analytics, design thinking, and inclusive leadership—to uncover hidden opportunities for innovation using an intersectional gender lens.  

During the program, you will develop fluency in concepts related to gender and other intersecting identities, and see how applying these analytically can uncover exciting new insights for your market. We’re flipping the script and bringing the DEI conversation to product and service design.

Rotman’s Gender Analytics will serve as your compass on an in-depth professional journey. By the end of the course, you will be equipped with skills and perspectives to emerge as an influential leader, capable of harnessing intersectional gender-based insights to cultivate innovative business opportunities. During this course, you'll actively participate in pragmatic, interactive exercises—including the development of your own project workplan—enabling you to directly implement your newfound knowledge in real-world business situations.

Technical Requirements

This program will be delivered over Quercus. Quercus is the University of Toronto’s name for our Learning Management Engine which is powered by Canvas. Information on Canvas supported browsers can be found here

For best performance, we recommend only accessing Quercus using the latest two release versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. While the Canvas/Quercus support page linked above lists other compatible browsers, we strongly advise against using Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Safari. There are known issues with these browsers.

Canvas Operates on Windows 10 or higher or Mac OS X 10.14 or higher is recommended. For effective performance, a minimum internet speed of 512kbps is required. For more information read: What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas?

Application Process

Before beginning the application process, please review the application policies and note the following exception for the Rotman Gender Analytics program: Deferral requests for this program are not accepted. Participants are required to adhere to the refund policy and enroll in the next available program offering. To apply, complete the online application form.

Participant Notification Process

Participants will receive a notice of admission within 5 business days of receipt of a completed application and fee. One week before the course, you will receive your log-in information. If you anticipate any challenges in completing the program requirements, please contact us as soon as possible.

Payment

Payments can be made online. Applicants will be redirected to a secure online payment website after completion of the application form. If you require alternative payment options, please email ep.admissions@rotman.utoronto.ca. This program is not eligible for discounts.
