International students are encouraged to source funding from resources available within their home country. Please note, the Rotman School does not guarantee, co-sign, nor endorse any of these specific programs for funding.

Engineers Canada – TD Meloche Monnex Scholarships |
Description: |
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to engineers returning to university for further study or research in a field other than engineering. The field of study chosen should favour the acquisition of knowledge pertinent to enhancing the performance of the candidate in the engineering profession. Candidates must be accepted or registered in a full-time program, no later than September 2015, in a faculty other than engineering.

Women in Financial Markets Scholarship |
Description: |
The National Bank of Canada offers a Women in Capital Markets Scholarship for female students who are entering or currently in a graduate-level program with the intent to pursue a career in financial markets.
Up to three successful candidates will each be granted a one-time scholarship in the amount of $10,000. The selected candidates will be paired with a Senior Mentor from the National Bank, Financial Markets group, ensuring a link between the recipient and National Bank throughout their studies. Recipients will also be offered internship opportunities within the organization.

FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship |
Description: |
FINCAD established the annual FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship Program to encourage and support outstanding women in the field of finance, particularly relating to the use of derivatives in capital markets and/or financial risk management, and give them an opportunity to cultivate their skills and knowledge.
The FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship Program offers an award of US$10,000 to support graduate-level studies. The scholarship is open to women of any age and citizenship who are studying Finance in a graduate-level program.

CIHR Science to Business S2B Program |
Description: |
The Canadian Institutes for Health Research's Science to Business (S2B) program is designed to encourage individuals with PhDs in a health-related field to pursue an MBA. It is anticipated that successful applicants to the program will go on to apply their management and scientific expertise by pursuing careers in fields that support commercialization and innovation in Canada such as management, regulatory affairs, finance, research, technology transfer, and public policy. The goal of this program is to develop a cadre of professionals knowledgeable in health research and management, and to foster an entrepreneurial culture within and around the research community.
The maximum amount per award is $30,000 for up to 2 years. This funding is non-renewable.

NEADS National Student Award Program |
Description: |
The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) National Student Awards Program is offered to encourage full access to post-secondary education for persons with disabilities, who often have greater barriers to participation in higher education, as well as extra costs because of their disabilities.
Students must currently be registered in and continuing at post-secondary institution and provide documented proof of registration as part of the application and on receipt of the award. The award will be offered to outstanding applicants who meet the criteria of the program. The awards are paid directly to the post-secondary institution (in the students’ accounts) that the recipients are attending to defray the cost of tuition fees for post-secondary study.

J.N. Tata Endowment for the Higher Education of Indians – The J.N. Tata Endowment offers loan scholarships for higher studies abroad only. The loan amount (ranging between Rs.1,50,000 and Rs.6,00,000) awarded to each scholar is determined by the norms laid down for the purpose and does not cover the full cost of studies. All applicants do not necessarily qualify for the maximum amount. Selected scholars may also qualify for a gift scholarship from the Jamsetji Tata Trust and a Travel Grant from the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, based on the sole discretion of the Trustees of the concerned Trusts. A gift scholarship can amount to a maximum of Rs.10,00,000. |

The AAC pays for tuition, travel expenses and a living allowance (housing, health insurance) for a maximum of two academic years.

Juno (formerly LeverEdge) is a collective bargaining organization for student loans. They negotiate with lenders to provide a deal available to U.S. Citizens and International Students with a valid U.S. cosigner.

P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund (for female students only) |
Description: |
The P.E.O. ELF loan is intended to help a woman attain a degree or certification from an accredited postsecondary educational institution.
The maximum loan amount is $12,000 for all programs of study and may not exceed the amount recommended by her sponsoring chapter. Loans are subject to the availability of funds.
Following the graduation date originally stated on the application, interest will begin accruing and will be billed on an annual basis. Interest accruals and payments will not be deferred if the student continues with further study. The current rate of interest is 2%.
All applicants for the ELF program must be sponsored by a P.E.O. local chapter. |
