Sophie Tanguay

Bio

For the last 10 years, Sophie Tanguay has coached professionals, management, and executives in the areas of career transition and leadership. Her approach helps clients identify their 'best fit' career opportunities, potential by focusing on their strengths, areas of interests, and long term career goals.  She leverages her assessment background to help clients identify the “best fit” career opportunities, job search techniques, professional networking and interviewing strategies.

Prior to working in the human capital management consulting field, Sophie was vice president of human resources for a global provider of logistics solutions. Her corporate HR experience includes merger and acquisition activities and implementation of large outsourcing initiatives. Sophie has worked with organizations in a variety of sectors — including telecommunications, information technology, manufacturing, consumer goods, financial services, and professional services.

Sophie completed a bachelor’s degree specializing in psychology at Concordia University in Montreal.  She also completed a graduate certificate in Executive Coaching with Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC.  She is certified to administer: the Birkman Method, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and the Team Management Profile (Team Management Systems). She is bilingual in English and French.
