NeXus Consulting Group Pushes the Boundaries by Driving Change for Social Enterprises using Economic and Environmentally Sustainable Solutions.

Toronto – As companies and organizations continue to rethink the ways in which they operate in order to make the world a better place, a new team of five MBA students from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management have joined the School’s sustainability and social-impact consulting firm, NeXus Consulting Group.

Since its inception in 2005, NeXus has expanded its focus from non-profit and social enterprise sectors into the private and public sectors with a focus on economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The NeXus team delivers solutions that allow organizations to achieve their strategic vision. Every year, a diverse and talented group of second year Rotman MBA students is selected to join the NeXus team.

This year’s consultants, Oliver Feniak MBA’19, Jamie Mendel MBA ’19, Patricia Mitton MBA ’19, Karthik Pillai MBA ’19, John Rizzo MBA’19, each bring a deep understanding of management and business practices, in addition to their professional experiences in the private and public sectors in Canada, and internationally.

Offering competitive, fee-based consulting services, NeXus supports a broad range of client needs, including business planning and start-up assessments, market research, scaling and expansion initiatives, financial modeling, technology implementation, customer insights and social impact measurement.

Current and past NeXus clients include: Royal Ontario Museum, Royal Conservatory of Music, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, and Evergreen Brick Works. A past client has described NeXus as “enthusiastic, competent, confident...exceptional.”
